Quebec Skilled Worker

Quebec is one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is the second-most populous province of Canada, after Ontario. It is a predominantly French speaking province, although comprised of large anglophone communities as well. Most inhabitants live in urban areas near the Saint Lawrence River between Montreal and Quebec City.

Quebec has an agreement with the Federal Government to administer their own immigration program, and applicants are selected based upon their own provincial criteria. Once approved by Quebec, a Selection Certificate is provided and an application submitted to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC) for permanent residency.

The Quebec Skilled Worker Program now uses an expression of interest system, and is based upon various factors such as age, education, work experience.
